When I took the plastic wrapper off the box I could immediately smell a orange citrus scent . I am not a fan of citrus scented anything.. When I opened it up it was a milky orange cream colored liquid kinda like the color of a melted dreamcicle inside the dark brown bottle.. So I started with a spot test by testing a drop on my hand to see in I could tolerate the scent since most orange scented stuff makes me nauseous..But I was pleasantly surprised even though I could smell it strong when I took it out of the plastic wrapper and box it really wasn't that overbearing once I put that drop on my hand it took about 10 minutes for the scent to disappear.. So from there I decided to test it out on my face.. I started by washing my face as it directs on the box it also said don't get with in 3-5 mm of the eyes..So make sure you follow the instructions..So on my spot test I really didn't notice but it does have a bit of a sticky appearance at first but it within several minutes it dries to a smooth feel...It took a few minutes more to dry on my face but as it was drying it had a youthful dewy look and I have to admit I loved the glow my face had when I used it plus my face felt hydrated . Even though I was worried about the smell it really wasn't bad at all..And once it dries it has a smooth feel ...
